IDE Visualization
This industrial 3D product visualization was created for IDE, a manufacturer of extrusion and processing machinery. The goal was to turn raw CAD data into presentation ready renders for marketing and technical documentation.
My part covered the full pipeline from data preparation to final look. I started by converting the raw CAD files into Maya and cleaning up geometry that does not import cleanly, since CAD and 3D rendering software read surfaces differently. Flexible components like cables and hoses needed separate attention, since CAD data cannot represent soft materials well, so I modeled and posed them by hand to match how they would hang on the real machine. For the final look, I built and applied the V-Ray shaders myself, matching brushed metal, powder coated housings and safety yellow guards to the manufacturer’s real material specifications.
